Announcements:

  • Last week of school - CHS office hours are Tuesday through Thursday 8 am to 4 pm! 

  • Summer CHS Office hours will be Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 7:30 am to 3 pm

  • Key Dates for Remote Learning Through End of 2019/2020 School Calendar

    • Please note the following key dates for the end of the 2019/2020 school calendar. We encourage you and your learners to mark the dates in your calendars and set reminder notifications.

    • HIGH SCHOOL

      • Tuesday, May 26: Final due date for assignments/projects/materials

      • Tuesday, May 26 & Wednesday, May 27 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm: Chromebooks, library books & textbooks returned directly to learners’ high school

      • Thursday, May 28: Last day of school

      • Friday, May 29: Graduation @ CHS 6pm

  • SENIORS-

    • Class of 2020 GRADUATION - We will have the alternative graduation procession at 6 pm on May 29th. We are excited to honor this important milestone while remaining fully aligned with the Governor’s guidelines to maintain social distancing. Those participating will be expected to remain in their vehicles at all times and there will be a recommended two-car limit allowed per graduate. The district is planning to broadcast this live via facebook. Please consider hosting a viewing party at home for extended family members. Please see the Senior Bulletin for more information!

    • Banner & Honors Magnet Distribution - We are hopeful to distribute these on Wednesday, May 27th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. 

  • Students who wish to attend summer school to make up missing credits should email their counselor as soon as possible!

  • Century Color Guard

  • Century Marching Band

  • Library Books 

    • All books that have been checked out from the media center (including books used for English classes) need to be handed in with other textbooks on May 26th & 27th. All late fines have been waived, so no fines will be charged once you hand in your books!

  • Due to the constraints of remote learning, all summer reading projects are cancelled for this summer. Students will not be required to complete a project for 9 Honors, 10 Honors, AP Language and Composition, or AP Literature and Composition. Please see attached flyer!

  • Athletic Registration 2020-2021:

    • Physicals - All incoming CHS 9th and 11th grade students (and those that did not participate last school year) are required to have a physical on file prior to athletic participation for the 20-21 year.  The link to the form is below.  You can take the form to any physician at your convenience.  

    • Online Registration - Please remember that if you would like to participate in athletics you need to complete the online registration form: CHS Online Athletic Registration

    • Insurance - You will need to have your own insurance to participate. If you do not have insurance, you will need to purchase insurance for your students. One option is to purchase insurance for the school year through Special Markets Insurance Consultants. Please see the following SMIC

  • All incoming 12th graders need the following immunization for the 20-21 school year:

    • The 12th grade immunization requirement for meningococcal vaccine starts with the 2020-2021 school year, and each year thereafter.

    • Students who received their first dose of meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccine before the age of sixteen (16) must have two (2) doses of meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccine. 

    • Students who received their first dose of meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccine at sixteen (16) years of age and older, or those who have never received a dose, must have one (1) dose of meningococcal (MenACWY) vaccine.

  • Emergency District 25 Food Distribution - Ends May 28th

    • Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

    • Serving ANYONE age 18 and younger, children are not required present to receive the meal (no adult meals available)

    • Breakfast and lunch sacks provided

    • Grab and Go: Individuals participating in the program are expected to practice social distancing at all times and leave the park immediately to consume their meals.

    • Park Locations: Alameda, Bicentennial, Caldwell, Hawthorn, OK Ward, Raymond, Lower Ross, Stuart, Edahow Elementary

  • Summer Lunch Program - May 29th to Aug 14th

    • Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm

    • Serving ANYONE age 18 and younger, children are not required present to receive the meal (no adult meals available)

    • Breakfast and lunch sacks provided

    • Grab and Go: Individuals participating in the program are expected to practice social distancing at all times and leave the park immediately to consume their meals.

    • Park Locations: Alameda, Bicentennial, Caldwell, Hawthorn, OK Ward, Raymond, Lower Ross, Stuart, Edahow Elementary

    • Next week, Student Council will be celebrating our Senior Class of 2020 on social media! Follow us, Century Studco, on Facebook or @centurystudco on Instagram and Twitter to join in the fun!

Final Transcripts – Seniors Don’t forget that you will need to request your final transcript by the end of this school year by completing the request form.  CHS Transcript Request (you can also find the link on the CHSdbacks.com website, under quick links at the bottom). Remember, if you have taken college level courses and received credit, you will also need to contact that institution to request your transcripts.  All will need to be sent to the college/university that you will be attending.  Please note that any transcript requests made after May 29th will need to be done through Parchment.com and will include a fee of $5.00.

The College and Career Advisors are submitting Advanced Opportunities requests to have the State pay for our students' AP tests. You will receive a phone call asking you to verify that your student took the AP test they signed up for. Please anticipate this phone call! We cannot submit an Advanced Opportunities request without confirmation that the student actually took the AP test.

SAT School Day that was re-scheduled for April 28 is CANCELLED.  Future SAT school day testing is TBD.  

ISAT Testing for Sophomores and Juniors (Science) for 2019-2020 is CANCELLED.  

Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA) and Brigham Young University--Independent Study (BYU-IS) online course programs have changed their exam proctoring procedures during the COVID-19 period.  Students in online courses will hear from these institutions about how to take their final exams.  Once you have completed an IDLA or BYU-IS course, you must send course completion information to the Century High School Registrar Jamie Berry, at berryja@sd25.us  

Idaho Digital Learning Alliance has sent out their summer schedule for classes (Please see the flyer below)!

Attention Juniors:

Are you interested in taking an ISU on campus class this fall or at the Outreach Center in Blackfoot? The College and Career Advisors and ISU’s College of Arts & Letters would love to help you find a class that fits in your schedule and helps move you closer to your career goals and possibly a degree. 

 Please email Ms. Temple or Ms. McCabe to schedule a time to meet with ISU’s College of Arts & Letters to help make a plan and learn more about the classes offered at ISU this fall. 

Are you not sure where to start with your college search next year? We’ve got you covered! The following links will take you to college/university’s virtual tour in Idaho. Take some time to explore and reach out to Ms. McCabe, Ms. Temple or the universities if you have any questions or are interested in learning about any of the schools. 

Attention Seniors!

Do you have questions about college, Financial Aid or FAFSA? Please reach out to the College and Career Advisors and they can help you answer any questions you may have. Know that you still have time to complete your college applications, FAFSA and scholarships. Please email Ms. McCabe at mccabema@sd25.us or Ms. Temple at templees@sd25.us with any questions you may have.

Do not forget to request your final high school transcripts to be sent to the college or university that you are planning to attend in the fall. You will need to request your final transcript by the end of this school year by completing the request form. CHS Transcript Request (you can also find the link on the CHSdbacks.com website, under quick links at the bottom). You can also email our registrar, Ms. Berry at berryja@sd25.us and let her know where you would like your final high school transcript to be sent.
